Looky at what I got:
It took me a little over 2 years to perform this tremendous feat on foot.
With the circumference of the earth taping in at 24,901 miles, it will take approximately 14 more years for me to hike around the world. I’m considering changing my handle to ForrestChump00.

I am inclined to think that all design that is intended to solve one or more problems is outside in. The difference is whether the designer has an explicit “outside” or an “intuitive” one.
Regardless of which, architecture can be viewed as a set of mostly sequential decisions. These decisions may be purposeful or cosmetic, and every purposeful decision is guided by some North Star.
Other viewpoints may vary.
