I don’t say anything, I speculate and make stuff up for fun 🙂
I was thinking about individuals here. Take a terrorist. He/she is so emotionally attached to deeply held religious values that he’ll blow himself up for them. If they were “softer” beliefs to him/her, then maybe we’d have less terrorism.

So if there was more apathy there would be more peace?
There’s nothing about apathy in the graph, right? The less attachment to thought/beliefs/values, the more peace. If there is no attachment (apathy), then we’d all be a bunch of robots?
Humans are feeling (first) and thinking (second) beings. I don’t think it’s possible for a human being to be apathetic to everything. That’s why the curve doesn’t cross 0 on the Y axis.

I think there is a big difference between apathy and attachment. Having no attachment is about more freedom in a positive sense whereas I say apathy as “I don’t care” in a negative way.
I think I understand a bit more what you are saying 😉
Are you saying that an emotional attachment increases relative to shared beliefs and shared values? Or am I completely off the planet 🙂 ?
