Product Team
How can a software project have more managers and pseudo-managers “working” on it than developers – you know, those fungible people who write, debug, and test the product code that is the source of the borg’s income. You would think that this comically dysfunctional practice would stick out like a sore thumb and somebody upstairs would put the kabosh on it, no?

In my short 30 history around computers, I have found the sea to be filled with dumb fish (that actually need management) and few red herrings that are 10x better than the rest of the crowd. The “smart” mgt. types figure this out early and often and ride each others coat-tails to the top! Been there, Done that! π
Yepp, someone’s gotta do the non-tech stuff to keep a tech business viable. The more the merrier?
Since the “live long and prosper” desire is built-in to the human condition and I’m guilty of it as much as the next schmuck, I can’t judge specific individuals for doing whatever they think is best for themselves. However, I can, and do, make abstract fun of it every chance I get.
